Are You Still Doing That Towel Thing?

Are You Still Doing That Towel Thing?

Yes we know it is very tempting and so deep en-grained in your subconscious that it is going to be difficult to break this bad habit… but, here is 1 more great hair tip today…

Stop Doing That Towel Thing

The combo of twisting, tension, and fabric-rubbing on super fragile wet hair is not kosher for the hair growth and hair care diet. Try swapping your towel for a gentler microfiber hair one (no rubbing, just blotting) or try drying your hair with nothing but air.

Using a traditional towel to dry our soaking strands is the worst thing ever. The coarse texture and dryness of a cotton or terry cloth towel can cause damage to the hair. This can worsen split ends and cause small craters along the hair shaft, weakening the hair

Air drying is always going to be the healthiest way to dry your hair.  It is always nice and healthy standing outside in a slight breeze. That is if time and weather permits you doing it off course.

Since we seldom have the time, we recommend adding leave-in conditioner and moisturizer to your hair. Then, wrap it up turban style in a T-shirt and let it dry overnight. This will help your hair to dry faster and keep the moisture within the hair shaft.
